Sustainability
Our aim is to reduce our impact by driving sustainability. We focus on the areas where we can influence and support change, keeping environmental and social considerations in mind. We also work with partners, venues and companies that share our values.
Managing the impacts of climate change is among the most pressing issues today. We are proud to have partnered with a venue which is easily accessible via public transport and offers a number of EV charging points onsite for greener travel. Sopwell House also work with us to ensure we recycle as much event waste as possible and we are working hard to reduce the amount of waste our event produces by reusing materials such as signage and lanyards, and going digital where possible. Sopwell House partner with and support a number of charities and initiatives including Wine to Water.
You can make an impact too by considering a greener travel option, and opting for the vegan or vegetarian food options. We aim to reflect the importance we put on diversity, inclusion and equity in our events. We aim to represent a variety of viewpoints in our content and to create a welcoming environment for our members and delegates – regardless of their race, including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin; sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, religion or belief, ability, age or background.
